there is an on off switch in the freezer to turn off the ice maker. Need a waterline to use ice maker. Can install one yourself easily. $9 kit at home depot

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The automatic ice maker is located in the freezer compartment. The ice maker cannot be taken out but it can be powered off if not in use. It does require a water line for use.
