This unit does have a CD player. However, it only has FM radio. NO AM RADIO. You can actually confirm this by reading LG's product description.

This LG stereo system can practically play all your CDs, it also includes diverse other connections such as USB, Bluetooth , and can play FM stations, but does NOT have AM band. This system can also serve as a good karaoke machine, if this is your thing.

hello, yes it has a cd player and fm radio. I don't think that it has am radio. great sound. easily connects to my kid's iphones via Bluetooth.
