Pros: -I LOVE the fact that it sounds as if it were a professional DJ loud speaker! I was truly not expecting all that sound to come out of a cube that size. -Bluetooth wireless play works flawlessly with any device and many devices can connect at the same time so it's great for house parties, where there is always that one person who has a request for a certain song. -CAN CONNECT ONE UNIT TO ANOTHER XBOOM STEREO UNIT WIRELESSLY TO OUTPUT WHATEVER THE FIRST UNIT IS PLAYING, EVEN FROM ACROSS THE ROOM! -Includes a USB port for Recording music and DJ mixes made on the device. -Includes a CD player for old school guys like me who like crispy sound (Ligitimate CD's sound best, preferably not copies). -Even works as an Alarm Clock!!! :) Cons- When I first tested the display unit at the store, I plugged my 4th gen ipod into the front USB port (The only USB port) to see how the sound was, the display read ERROR. I tried it many times to check for bad connection and still the same message appeared. Mind you, playing music from ANY mp3/mp4 device WILL ALWAYS SOUND BETTER THROUGH A DIRECT USB CONNECTION VS WIRELESS PLAY! -The EQ is NOT manually adjustable, you must go through a long time consuming preset EQ list which can be frustrating at first (However, it can also be quite rewarding once you actually find the right one). -Speaker LED lighting can be customized, BUT is limited to only about 6 or 7 settings, most of which go overboard on the effects... In conclusion, if your in the market for a bluetooth wireless stereo that sounds powerful and doesn't take up much space, or cost much more than a regular boring stereo system, then this LG boom X cube is the one for you!

Don't let its size fool you, this sound system is awesome. Bluetooth connectivity, cd, am/fm radio, rear outputs and inputs, front USB input and you can record your mixes to your flash drive via front USB port. flashing lights on the speaker(which can be turned off if needed). A karaoke function just plug in a mic and karaoke night has begun. I personally think it's a well rounded system. Good bass and good highs. Buy this system you will not be disappointed. Oh yeah and I added my home theater sub to it via rear outputs.

Love this stereo.. it's compact enough to move from room to room and the sound quality left me in awwhhh... Excellent quality hands down and thank you LG for keeping my CD collection alive!! Love my CD' S too!! Back to the basics but with today's upgrades.. A+

Man this speaker is bad, it bumps hard and the speaker has built in lights that change different colors! Overall I give it a 5 star

Well before purchasing this boom box I did online research and to my surprise I found very few videos on it and most of them were either in Portuguese or Russian and the few reviews I found in English were positive even great,but that wasn’t t the case when I purchased and set it up, pros it’s loud ,usb player for music , Bluetooth capability,led lighting,and it’s solid construction And of course LOUD now for the Cons-CD player sounds way below average especially for this type of radio Bluetooth doesn’t connect automatically you have to manually turn it on , has Av in puts and outputs in the inputs you can’t connect extra speakers which would have earned an extra star and I not having to return it For a party type of scene this radio shines but for home listening it constant bass thumping without clear vocals tends to get annoying after a while.

I love how quick you can connect with your phone, and USB. The sound is great.

Portable and yet powerful sound and the price is right.

I can play a cd, use the fm radio, usb, my favorite is Bluetooth. Loud and proud! We use it outside for parties.

This is a very good sound system for the price! The size is about perfect. Nice features and overall good quality all around. I would recommend this product. Just remember, you are paying mid 100's for this unit so dont compare it to a Bose or another high end system.

It's a great combination of all systems in one unit. All functions are readily available at an easy disposal.

I read reviews for this "Boom Box" on this Best Buy Website. I needed something that would be loud enough for my Color Guard and Twirling Teams to hear in the gyms where we practice. OMG!!! This is by far the best Boom Box/Stereo I have ever purchased. You can play a CD, USB flash drive and Blue Tooth. The sound is clean. It also has an input for a plug in Mic. I have not tried that yet though. I am just amazed at how light this is with all the power it put out. I have to carry it with me when going to various practices. But, i can see it being a perfect system to leave in your home entertainment area. Oh, I almost forgot to mention the lights that play along with the msic. I joked with my staff that it is the ultimate "Party Machine". I highly recommend this system. Oh.. I saved even more because I purchased an "Open Box" item. It arrived in Brand New excellent condition. I purchased the additional warranty because that is not very expensive either..

I had been looking for a stereo for my bedroom and so glad I stopped at Best Buy. This system is an all in one CD Player, Stereo, Karaoke, Radio, with Mic, USB,and Bluetooth included. It also has different levels of bass & tones and has colorful disco lights that can be turned on/off. The sound and quality is excellent. I love my boombox radio!!!

Was looking for a basic shelf system that sounded good, had a few bells and whistles, and wasn't ridiculously overpriced. And was tired of all these absurd bluetooth speakers. This LG system is perfect! Read a few reviews, looked at several other models, and decided to go for it. Glad I did. The speaker is pretty loud for it's size. Great for any house party. The bass is deep so music feels rich. I have to admit that the bass might be a bit deep for some songs, but that's OK because you can use the preset dynamic sound options to enhance the sound a bit. CD player was nice (really wanted it!) so I can player better music than just MP3s. As for the MP3s, the bluetooth link is great, flawless. Paired quickly with my iPod. Price was great too (especially since I got it during a sale! Would suggest you do the same.) The light up speaker was kind of fun too. And if you don't want it to light up, it does enable you to turn it off. All in all, it met my criteria and would recommend it. Remember: You get what you pay for. So if you're expecting this unit to perform miracles, you might be disappointed. You should quit being cheap and spend the BIG bucks for an elite system. Otherwise quit complaining. The unit is great for the average user. Have no issues with it whatsoever.

First off, this is probably the best sounding bluetooth speaker I have purchased to date. Previous ones all had drawbacks in sound quality, including a more expensive Samsung Tube that generated a "shreik" on high notes. This unit produces ample Bass (although at 6 inches, the woofer is NOT going to shake the house), and clear mids/highs. I did have to play with the various equalizer settings to get the right balance for the types of music I listen to, but there are plenty of options for all tastes. The unit is rather large so keep that in mind, while it has handles I really don't envision this being much of a portable unit due to the one con I list below. Overall, certainly a good deal if you can catch it on sale for under $150. Now the con - the description goes to length (as does the box) to claim this unit can "go anywhere, do anything". While in theory I suppose it can, thats only possible if you have access to a plug everywhere. This unit must be powered via ac (or a dc converter can create a plug from your car to use), there is no battery so make sure you understand that drawback before purchasing. If you plan to use this at home or in a dorm or whatever you will be fine. The flashing led's are also optional so you can turn them off if they are not your cup of tea (I turned them off). The remote is handy but does not control 100% of the options on the unit so you may need to keep it reasonably accessible.

I purchased this to play music for our holiday gathering. It is the perfect size and has amazing sound it even has lights that keep with the beat of the music! It was the hit of the party as people were suggesting music and were able to wireless pair with it to play from their phones as well as cd’s and the radio! I know at least six of my guests said they were going to get one for their next event great job LG and Best Buy!!!

I really like how clean the sound is from this speaker. I haven’t yet figured out how to use the karaoke feature, but I’ll get around to it. Connecting via Bluetooth is super fast. I think it’s a bit bulky, however, it does feature a CD player as well. All in all, I think it’s a great sounding system. The lights are pretty cool, too! You can also preset a lot of radio stations. Switching between features is a snap with the remote (included).

I bought this LG Hi Fi Entertainment System because I wanted a good sound in a relatively small package - it delivers. I also wanted a system that was multi-media (FM radio, CD player, Bluetooth, and ports for MP3 players) again it delivers. It is a great value.
