• I haven't experienced ice on the upper freezer door. I just keep some frozen fruit and veggies in there and it's been fine. Have you overpacked the freezer drawer? I found in my old fridge that sometimes would cause it to ice up. The air has to have room to circulate for it not to ice up.

• We use the automatic ice. The ice is stored in the door. We love this fridge and don’t have any complaints.
