“what is the height, fully installed? I read all the specs but is there anything extra (ie, water, ice...) needed on top? Need to return new frig because the water system added 2 inches on top not listed in ANY specs!”

This model did not fit in my kitchen's enclosure for a refrigerator. The door hinge on either side at the top and a plastic apparatus between them makes the fully installed height 69.88". Without the hinges (which you need if you want to have a door on your refrigerator), the height is 68.63".

French Door Refrigerator - Stainless Steel, Model # LFC24770ST has a height of 68 5/8" to the top of its' case and a height of 69 7/8" to the top of the Door hinges. The required installation clerance for the top of the refrigerator is 1 inch. Nothing goes on the top of the refrigerator. Standard Upper Kitchen Cabinets have a depth of 12" - 14" and recently, some home owner's have even gone upper cabinets with a depth of 15" to 16". Even with those depths, the Door Hinges will not present any obstacles since they are about 4 1/2" long at most so the only height you need to consider is the height to the top of the refrigerator's case (68 5/8")...^IFV
