Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The black stainless is a gray, not quite as dark as I would like (Samsung's is darker) but it does the job. It is not super shiny but does have a gloss. It is not nearly as hard to deal with fingerprints or clean up as stainless. The delivery person said it scratches easily... haven't had any trouble yet though.

Counter-Depth French Door Refrigerator - Black Stainless Steel, Model # LFXC24726D is that it is a few shades darker than Stainless Steel and that the Black Diamond finish is more glossy than shiny, and more reflective than Stainless Steel. It actually has a base of stainless steel that is coated with the darker hue, then topped with a nanoceramic coating that makes the surfaces of the appliances more smudge-resistant and easier to clean...^IFV
