Hi Atlantagirl. The ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 24.1 cu. ft Bottom-Freezer Refrigerator - Smooth White, Model # LDCS24223W does not have a built-in water filter. If filtration is required, you will need to install a reverse osmosis water filtration system between the refrigerator and your cold water supply...^IFV
