“Hi, in looking at the reviews it looks like this model may have some issues with the compressor, ice maker. Are these issues common on this model? I would hope it would hold up for 12 to 15 years at least!”

• My last refrigerator was sn LG & the compressor went out on it also. The repairman told me that the new refrigerators only last about 7 years., I had mine 8 yrs. They did have problems with the old compressors, but have improved them.
