Yes they can. The bin comes out easily with the removal of 2 screws. The door with the water and ice maker takes a little bit of skill as the water supply line and electrical connector comes through the hinge. Surprisingly the fridge is delivered with instructions on how to do that and there are some nice Youtube videos on how to do it. It is within the realm of a good diyer.
