An LG technician came to look at the fridge and discovered one of the support posts for the condenser was missing and rattling around in it. He thought it was dropped at some point either at the factory or during delivery, as it would not sit level and could be rocked side to side. We were within the two week exchange period, so we exchanged it for a new one and all is quiet now. We are loving the amount of space there is for a smaller fridge, the ice and water dispenser and also love the overall look. We are very happy with our new, quiet fridge.

Smart Wi-Fi Enabled French Door Refrigerator, Model # LRFXS2503S, "The refrigerator makes a loud noise after initial operation. This is normal. The volume will decrease as the temperature decreases" Once the refrigerator reaches the set temperature, the compressor will stop and will not be loud the next time it kicks on...^IFV
