Do you use the water from the fridge? When you put in a new filter, you are supposed to go through 20 cups of water before it is “ok” to drink. Also forbthe ice, you dump the first batchn& then it is ok. I haven’t had any issues, but the first batch of ice that I dumped looked like what you described. Get the first 20 cups of water out & then it can make the ice. Hope that makes sense.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. What it sounds like you are experiencing is cloudy ice. Water free of minerals and impurities freezes first, and as that water freezes, entrapped air and minerals are moved out of the freezing ice toward the unfrozen center. Eventually the trapped air becomes frozen water with air bubbles which looks like cloudy ice. Here is a youtube video that talks about this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=79ng5lXB9zY If you have any other questions, or would just like to see our helpful tips, check us out on Twitter @LGUSSupport or on facebook at www.facebook.com/LGUSA ^CP
