The Hybrid Drying System in the LG - 24" Built-In Dishwasher with Stainless Steel Tub - Stainless steel, Model # LDS5040ST that effectively dries your dishes without use of a heating element is part of the cycle which will run to completion so it cannot be turned off. You can cancel a cycle by opening the door and then pressing and holding the Normal and Delicate buttons simultaneously for approximately three seconds. The drain pump will activate and the cycle will cancel. The display will shoe "dr" and the dishwasher will drain the water and after it has drained, it will turn off...^IFV
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.not that I have found. but our model does not have a "heated dry" (per the manual, it uses residual wash cycle heat to dry) so I just let it go where I always cancelled the dry cycle on our previous machine
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not really many options to change anything, tbh, but it is very energy efficient due to it not having heated drying.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The only option I know about is the Heated Dry option which does NOT turn on with a normal wash unless selected.
