I'm assuming that since this dishwasher requires a hot water feed, the water temp of the cycle is mostly based on how hot the 'tap' water is. I was specifically advised to run my tap water to the hottest then start the dishwasher as it doesn't heat the water unless the Sanitary/NSF cycle is on then it has an independent heater.
