Sound passes through my HDMI cable fine but speakers don't get very loud
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It should... I currently have my streaming device plugged into the HDMI outlet and the sound is excellent!! I would recommend using the cinema audio.

I'm not good with technical stuff, but I seem to remember there being two sound levels when I connected the HDMI to my UVerse box, almost like one for the tv and one for the UVerse. Try the tv remote And the cable/satellite remote and you might see the two ranges.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Make sure your speakers are turned on if you want the sound to come through the TV speakers. If you have an outside speaker system, you can not control volume with the TV if using optical sound.
