Sorry, I tried answering before and maybe misunderstood. I use the Dish remote 99% of the time and the menu's remote manager worked perfectly to set it up with the tv. I only used the LG remote to do some adjustments in the beginning. With my other LG, I mainly use the remote to change the input to switch to my Apple TV box.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have AT&T Uverse and I choose the manual option to program the remote instead of Auto. It then asks me what brand of TV I'm programming. Once I enter the brand it spits out a bunch of 4 digit codes. I tried the first one and it worked for me. Hope this helps.
