“The remote won't work. Is there a specific button that you need to push”

• You should be able to push power button and remote should work. Mine works great. Might check batteries.

• No, it should work without pushing any unusual buttons, but either the remote or the TV might be defective. Check you batteries to be sure they're not installed wrong. If not, take it back to the store and have them try another LG remote.
