Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi Spyderman Yes you need to buy a stepup 12v to 19v ebay sells them I have hooked up my 24" in my vw bus and it runs the tv very well. I did'nt want to by a barrel input for the tv so i just cut the cord and hooked up the stepup 19v to the cord. I also bought a step down that takes 12v and turns it to 5v 3amp which powers the raspberry pi 3, hook raspberry pi HDMI to HDMI on tv and your good to go.oh i forgot to mention buy the 5v 3amp with micro usb output which plus right into the raspberry pi 3.

Please try again later.Yes, if you are planing to put it in a auto using 12v you'll need to buy a stepup that will up the 12v to 19v Ebay sells them, I also purchased a step down which lowers the 12v to 5v 3amp which will power a raspberry pi 3 and the output is micro usb which powers the raspberry pi 3. I connect the raspberyy pi hdmi to the tv hdmi and now you can hook up your usb flashdrive with mp4 movies/mp3 music to play on your 19v tv. the 19v step up dose not have the plug that fits the tv , i just cut the cord that came with the tv and hook the 19v from the stepup. Hope that helps .Or you can just hookup a tv antenna and watch free tv.
