A:AnswerI'm not sure what it means, but I can tell you I replaced a 21 year old dishwasher with this model and i do surely miss my old one. This unit will NOT dry your dishes at all without a rinse aid such as Jetdry. I washed 2 loads without using a drying rinse aid, and i also pushed the"extra dry" button...they came out soaking wet. I called LG, they said you cannot go without a drying rinse agent. I sure wish the sales people at Best buy told me. I would have looked for an old fashioned dishwasher that still uses heating coils to help dry along with the optional rinse aid. I have tried a load with a rinse aid, and it was much better.
A:AnswerThe answer is: You need to add the "Finish" rinse&dry product for dishwashers; "Finish" is the name brand (any supermarket sells it), and it's the blueish fluid you add next to the dishwasher soap container; once you add the "Finish" fluid (not every time but once every couple of months or more), your dishes (and dishwasher) will end every cycle dried up. Hope this helps.
A:AnswerI have this exact problem!! The walls of this dishwasher and the entire tub and door are ALWAYS dripping wet with condensation. So frustrating because it makes it smell. In addition, dishes do NOT completely dry, so if you don't removed promptly, they begin to sweat and fog up from the condensation inside. So disappointed. I am considering returning it.
A:AnswerDon't remember the decibel rating...it was fairly high, but am very pleased with this dishwasher. It is extremely quiet, partly because it is a direct drive. No belts to worry about. The first time I ran it, I had to stand next to it to make sure it was running.
A:AnswerThere is only one rear leg it's in the center. The adjuster is on the front of the dish washer (bottom center behind the plate) for the rear leg. Use a philips head screwsriver. It's better to adjust the rear leg before sliding the dishwasher in.
A:AnswerIt has a filter. You do have to scrap any food from your dishes before putting them in the dishwasher, but you do not need to pre-wash them. I am very pleased with the way my dishes come out sparkling clean every time!
A:AnswerBest Buy will take the old dishwasher with them. When we bought our dishwasher they were not installing them. You may want to contact store in your area to see if that's changed
A:AnswerMake sure the plumber looks at the manual and sees their is a smal adjustable leg towards the back in the middle. The screw to adjust is actually towards the front of the dishwasher so you access it from the front. My plumber was having problems installing and this was the issue. He said he had never done one like that before so it could be on newer dishwashers! I was determined to get this in so I had to help figure it out!! I'm happy to pass this on so it can go more smoothly for others!
A:AnswerYes, both the top and bottom drawers pull out easily. The top drawer stays in place unless you actively lift up on it to release it from the rails. While the bottom drawer just stays in place and you can pull straight out under the lid of the dishwasher.
A:AnswerHello,
This drys amazingly as long as you have the rinse aid in there. Use the overnight dry setting and your dishes come out spotless and dry. Unless you have plastic or anything that captures water. Hope this helps!
A:AnswerHello there, Noels. Thank you for asking about your LG dishwasher (LDFN4542S). We understand you want to find the fastest wash cycle.
To get the shortest wash time, you should select the "Express" cycle on your control panel. This cycle is designed to quickly clean lightly soiled dishes. Depending on factors like water temperature and soil level, this cycle takes approximately 33 to 38 minutes. Please note that the Express cycle does not have a drying function in order to save time.
