Hello there. Thank you for reaching out. We understand that you have questions about the LG model LDFN4542W dishwasher regarding its connectivity and old appliance removal. Connectivity: The LG LDFN4542W dishwasher does not require a connection to a computer or Wi-Fi to operate. It can function fully using its built-in controls and settings. However, if you have the LG SmartThinQ app, you can connect the dishwasher to Wi-Fi to access additional features like remote monitoring and control, notifications, and troubleshooting. This is optional and not necessary for basic operation. Old Dishwasher Removal: Appliance removal services, including the removal and disposal of your old dishwasher, are typically not included with the purchase of a new dishwasher unless specified by the retailer or installation service. You would need to check with the retailer or installation service you choose to see if they offer this service. Many retailers and installation companies do offer removal and disposal services for an additional fee. If you have any further questions or need assistance with setup or service options, please send us a private message on Social Media @LGUSSupport, and our team will be glad to help. We appreciate your patience. —Renzo
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No WiFi connection needed. It does have an option to either connect power via hardwire connection or have an outlet cord installed to plug in to a traditional outlet. Recommend hiring a plumber to install the dishwasher.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No the internet is not required to use the dishwasher. I had to pay extra for removal service but it was worth it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. As far as I know of it shouldn't need wifi, but I do have it. I never thought about asking that question. That's a good question. Yes, they took away my ancient dishwasher but there is a fee, like normally.
