“Just installed this monitor and cannot get sound to come on? Also I have installed disc that came with monitor but it doesn't seem to be doing anything? Any suggestions?”

The LG 24" Class 4K UHD IPS LED Monitor (24" Diagonal), Model # 24UD58-B does not have built-in speakers, but it does have a Headphone Out port in the back that you can connect a pair of headphones to or a pair of computer speakers to. Make sure that you have your computer set to output to the monitor or headphones...^IFV
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Make sure external speakers or earbuds are fully connected all the way in the 3.5mm jack on back of monitor. If still no sound I suggest making sure the volume is increased enough to drive the external sound device you are using to hear sound. To adjust the Volume push toggle button at the bottom center of monitor to see on-screen menu. Move toggle button to left to select Menu. Use toggle button to highlight Quick Settings (right side of screen) and look for Volume (third line from top). Move toggle to highlight Volume (red box around Volume) and press toggle button to show Volume adjustment. Press toggle button (left or right) to adjust Volume. Hope this helps.
