Depends. To isn’t really compatible with hdmi adapters so who’d have to settle for D sub, and if you’re dealing with HD protected content like iTunes, you’ll get hdcp errors. At this point, spend the little extra you’d be spending on cords for a more compatible monitor, and save yourself the frustration.
