I would like to know the answer to this question as well. Even though the extra dry cycle is on, the dryer walls are still quite wet when the cycle finishes cleaning. Two days later, the inside is still wet and becomes smelly. I have found that it does help some with the moisture if you don’t push the door completely closed when not in use. (It looks closed but you don’t close it far enough for it to latch)

Last night we selected the Extra Dry overnight option and this morning the door was completely dry. I would recommend selecting the half load option to keep from leaving the dirty dishes in long enough to develop mold. We rinse our dishes before loading even though they say that it isn't necessary. That may help you also.
