QuestionHow do I use just the dryer function? My dishes are always wet and don't feel clean. I have cleaned the filters and have enough rinse aid. I tried several times to do the 'extra dry' and it just kept rinsing the dishes and not even drying them at all.

- Answer We returned ours because it wouldn't dry. If you got a service plan, I would return it and get a Bosch!

QuestionDoes anyone have an issue with the dishes coming out wet? The 3rd top rack never dries and my dishes on the other racks are hit or miss. I use a rinse aid and platinum plus Cascade packs. I also use the overnight button and never overfill the washer.

QuestionThe dishwasher was delivered and I installed it.. However on the very last step. I noticed there was a scratch on the control panel. I don't want to have to remove it and have it return it can the display panel be replaced?

- Answer The dishwasher doesn't come with an air gap, and whether or not you need one depends on your particular configuration. This model comes with instructions for both air gap and non-air gap setups.

Geographically, more than 60% of the USA suffers from hard or very hard water with an overwhelming 85 percent of the USA having hard water. Hard water can be potentially corrosive and damaging to domestic appliances, pipework and central heating boilers. The six metro areas that are notorious for having the hardest water in the country are Indianapolis, Las Vegas, Minneapolis, Phoenix, San Antonio and Tampa. If you have issues with hard water damage to your appliances, you may want to look into a Single-tank cabinet or Twin-Tank (Dual-Tank) water softener. An Eddy descaler is often an effective protection against the problematic effects of hard water...^IFV

QuestionOne month in. KEEPS STOPPING. Yes the filter is clean. No, nothing is blocking the sensors. Not overpacked. Yes manually opened the soap dispenser. What a terrible disappointing purchase. Got it from the Brick. Cant find a comment place there.Anyone same?

- Answer The LG Top Control Dishwasher with QuadWash™ and EasyRack™ Plus, Model # LDP6797ST unit does not have a plug on it and it has to be connected to a dedicated, properly grounded branch circuit which is protected by a time delay fuse. You need to connect the appliance using the 3-wires including a ground wire. ^CP
