• believe the third rack refers to the silverware rack

• This particular machine does not have a third rack, however, the top rack is adjustable allowing for different loading options. If I need the space for sheet pans I can raise the upper rack allowing for more room underneath. I can also lower the top rack when necessary allowing me the space to load my sports bottles and 32 oz plastic cups on the upper rack.

• Yes there are 3 racks with this unit, a cutlery rack, the top rack and the lower rack. ^CP
