Will this play DVD's? null

Yes it will but you need third party software for Windows 10 which you can download from different sites for free,

I was excited to use this on my mom's computer for copying her Christmas and other albums but after not getting anything to work on the first unit, I found similar troubles with the replacement unit. I click anywhere from 3 to 6 times and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I give up after so many error screens. Several hours of working on it and only got 3 albums copied. When it works it really screams but not worth the trouble or the time it requires to get results.
