i pressed the ‘ice button’ on the panel above the french doors.before i went to sleep.and i had ice the next morning.

A:AnswerThere is a drop-bucket in the upper drawer of the freezer compartment. I don't use the ice maker so I flipped the "off" switch and use the bin elsewhere. You can remove the Ice Bin to just have a whole open freezer drawer.
