“Is there a way to keep the door with the ice maker from slamming shut?”

• I have the same issue, the extra weight of the ice maker is what causes it to gather momentum and "slam" shut. Drives my wife nuts :-), ya have to hang on to the door as you shut it.

• Proper leveling will help, unfortunately the weight of the icemaker makes the door heavier. There's no real solution. ^Daphane

• Haven't experienced that problem. Be sure to load so that there is enough weight in bins.
