We have not noticed moisture around the ice dispenser, but our central air conditioner is new and keeps the humidity down in our home.

Ultra Capacity 4-Door French Door Refrigerator, Model # LMXS27626S, warm air gets into the refrigerator if the doors are kept open too long. When warm humid air comes in contact with the cold dry air from the ice dispenser, condensation will take place, especially on humid days when there is a higher level of moisture in the air. You see this happening when you take a glass of a cold water or cold beverage outside on a hot humid day and condensation forms on the outside of the glass. Frequent opening of the refrigerator door creates humidity because it lets warm humid air enter the unit; making it more difficult for the refrigerator to remove the excess moisture. The moisture can also build up inside the refrigerator when it is started up after a long period of inactivity. Warm humid air can also enter your refrigerator if the gaskets damaged or creased. If the refrigerator is not properly leveled, the doors may not be aligned properly which can also cause slight openings that allow hot humid air to enter the refrigerator. A quick method you can use to check that your refrigerator is properly aligned will be to open the refrigerator doors and get a small quantity of vegetable oil and gently rub some on the rubber gaskets of the ice maker. Close the door then open it gently and check the inside wall of the refrigerator. You should be able to see circular oil traces on the inside wall where your rubber gasket made contact. If the oil ring and the gasket line up properly to the vents in the inside wall, you probably need to make arrangements for a repair service. If they do not align, you can follow the instructions in your owner's manual on how to align the doors and level the refrigerator...^IFV
