- Answer Yep, we are currently looking at at least 6 week before anyone will even come look at it, who knows how long the parts will be back ordered. My refrigerator is only 2 years old. What a nightmare!

- Answer When I bought this type of refrigerator from a Chula Vista store, it wasn’t about the size of the door it was about the poor size of service it took More than a month to deliver. Very disappointed

QuestionHow do I start making ice on this Lg door in door? Guy came to install a new water line.I waited all day. The water is coming out but I cannot figure out for it to start making ice. I took off the cover to see if it had an off/on button,dont see anything.

- Answer Make sure it is showing on, on the control panel to the left of ice/water opening. Also check to make sure wire inside the cube bin is not stuck up.

QuestionI see that a lot of the negative reviews are regarding linear compressor failures. Apparently there may be a manufacturing flaw. Do the new units sold now have an updated compressor that addresses the cause of these failures?

- Answer There is a * symbol for turbo ice is on the control panel in the door. You hold that button down for 3 seconds... which is really like 5 seconds to get it to come on.

- Answer Do not buy this fridge, nor buy anything from Best Buy, total nightmare, i bought this fridge which was delivered March 5th, stopped working on June 27th,, Tried to call LG, Best Buy Geek Squad, took two weeks to get someone to answer the phones. Then was told my replacement fridge would not be delivered until the end of July. Best Buy was no help and the dingbats at LG do not care. I will never buy anything from them again!
