Hi Mimi. This LG - Door-in-Door 26.0 Cu. Ft. Side-by-Side Refrigerator with Thru-the-Door Ice and Water, Model # LSXS26366S does not make little ice balls. I'm not familiar with the ice at Sonic. This LG makes small ice but the ice is not spherical.
