Depends on how far out from your counter tops the refrigerator extends. My counter tops extend 26 inches from the wall and I have no issues opening either door. Remember this refrigerator is 33.5 inches deep (and you are likely to keep it a few inches from back wall) so that gives you plenty of room for the doors to swing open.
