On mine with the handle @ 5 inches. If the wall doesn’t extend all the way to the handle when open @ 2 inches would do it.

For proper installation of the LG Refrigerator model LRFS28XBD, please allow at least 24 inches (610 mm) in front of the refrigerator to open the doors, at least 2 inches (50.8 mm) between the back of the refrigerator and the wall and 1/8 inches on the sides. ^Danee
