I too have noticed it when the tv is on a countertop. I suggest you register the tv at lg.com and leave your concerns and questions at the website’s Support section.

We understand your concerns regarding stability, especially in earthquake-prone areas. This model should come with a stand that helps provide stability, but if the bottom isn’t level, it could lead to an unstable setup. To improve stability, ensure the stand is correctly attached and all screws are tightened, as an improperly secured stand can cause instability. Additionally, consider using anti-tip furniture straps or brackets designed to secure the TV to the shelf or wall, providing extra protection against tipping. If possible, check if the shelf itself can be adjusted to ensure it’s level. If you need further assistance or have questions about additional stabilization options, please send us a private message on Social Media @LGUSSupport. Our team is here to help! Thank you for choosing LG! —Avril
