They are both Smart TV's. Current Smart TV's come with one of three options: WebOS, Amazon Fire or Roku. Each has a different operating system for streaming. Xfinity streaming has it's own box that would need to be hooked up to any TV, much like Roku streaming stick or Amazon Fire stick. Roku and Fire stick are there for TV's that aren't Smart TV's or if you want their brand of streaming as opposed to what is installed on your current Smart TV.
