Unlike older LG Refrigerators that required a bypass filter that was included with the refrigerator, the ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 27 cu. ft. If you buy this refrig you will be happy lg freezer nd the 3 doors is wonderful . cannot go wrong with a LG product in my opinion.
