You should run the ice a few days and throw it out to ensure it is cleared out

InstaView™ French Door-in-Door® Refrigerator with Ice Maker - PrintProof™ Stainless Steel, Model # LFCS27596S installed or have you recently changed the water filter or turned the ice maker off for a while? You should discard the first few batches of ice after an initial install. The ice bin should be emptied any time the ice maker on/off switch is turned to the OFF (O) position. You can also try dispensing 2 gallons of water to flush out the lines then see if the ice still tastes like the filter. It is recommended that the water filter be replaced every six months or more often as needed. This can vary from household to household depending on the frequency of use, water quality, and style of filter. If the water filter has not been replaced in 4- 6 months the water or ice may develop an unpleasant taste or odor. Is it just the ice that tastes like the filter or does the dispensed water have the same taste? The water for the ice and for the dispenser is filtered through the same water filter...^IFV
