You can either get a replacement remote, Part # AKB75095330 for the LG HD 720p LED TV - 28" Class (27.5" Diag), Model # 28LJ400B-PU or a Universal Remote. The only Universal Remote that LG makes is the LG Magic remote which is not compatible with this TV. There is a variety of universal remotes available from different manufacturers that you might be able to use for this TV, but you will need to check the packaging for the universal remotes. They will indicate what brand of TVs they can be programmed to control and they will also list what functions they can control on a TV. The Sales Associates at Best Buy will be able to assist you with that if in doubt. The original remote control is specifically designed for this TV and will provide you with full functionality which is not guaranteed on a universal remote...^IFV
