• Yes, the black stainless is smudge proof. The glass door in a door is not. We have had it for over a month with 4 adults and we have yet to clean any smudges as there are none.

• Yes, it seems to be smudgeproof, however, I have no little ones. The 'black' stainless is not ''black'' exactly. It's a must see in a store, just a beautiful and modern finish.
