The LG 29.7 Cu. Ft. French Smart Wi-Fi Enabled InstaView™ Door-in-Door® Refrigerator with Craft Ice™ Maker, Model # LRFVS3006S is designed to fit in a space that is 36" wide. The refrigerator has a width of 35 3/4" and the recommended installation clearance spacing for the sides is 1/8" which adds up to exactly 36". A linear foot is 12 inches wide and 25 inches deep because the standard depth of kitchen countertops is 25 inches. The refrigerator has a depth of 29 7/8" without the door and the recommended installation clearance spacing for behind the refrigerator is 2" so the refrigerator's cabinet will be 4 4/8 inches clear of the Countertop so that will not hinder the doors from opening unless you have a custom Countertop that is deeper than the standard 25". When the refrigerator doors are opened 90˚, it has a width of 44 1/4" (includes the handles) so you need a Door Edge Clearance of 4 1/4" on either side of the refrigerator from adjacent walls...^IFV

In my opinion it needs room for heat escape and leveling space. The doors opening or not would depend on how far out the walls come to the front of the refrigerator.
