“Has LG changed the design of the compressor or is this the same one that had issues in previous models?”

• LG has a warranty on the compressor and reimbursed us the cost of the refrigerator after it failed. It was a pain waiting for a replacement but they stood by there warranty.

• Model LRFDS3016S has a Linear Compressor. There is no way for me to verify the model number or type of linear compressor in this unit.
