“Can you swith the ice maker to make regular ice in the bottom instead of sphere?”

Piece of crap. Make 3 craft balls a day. Dor ice maker is so small too. Forever running out of ice. Not Dual modes at all, two separate makers. Both suck

No the bottom ice maker is purposely set up to make craft ice only.

No, it is fixed in functionality. However, you could turn it off and store ice (from the door bin) in the freezer drawer to stockpile ice for a party. Also, there is a sliding drawer in the freezer compartment that is deep enough for multiple conventional ice cube trays. There are other versions of this fridge with conventional ice makers only if you don't want the craft ice feature.

No. However, you could empty ice from above into the craft ice bin in the freezer if you are needing to have extra on hand.
