“What is the practical difference between the two finishes available in this model, the "PrintProof Stainless Steel" (LRFWS2906S) and the "Stainless Steel Look" (LRFWS2906V)? Isn't the "Stainless Steel Look" actually Stainless Steel?”

I believe the answer is in the side panels. The V version has grey sides as opposed to the silver sides on the S version. The S version is, at this time, $100 more than the V.
