• The unit has a water filter. Use replacement cartridge LT1000P, https://www.lg.com/us/kitchen-accessories/lg-LT1000P-water-filter. ^Daphane

• Yes, and recommended to be replaced every 6 months. Manual says you can use LT1000P, LT1000PC, LT1000PCS or ADQ749935
