• The LG 3.1.2-Channel 440W Soundbar System with Wireless Subwoofer and Dolby Atmos with Google Assistant - Black, Model # SN8YG has an HDMI eARC port. It is not true that Dolby Atmos cannot pass through HDMI eARC or HDMI ARC. Dolby Atmos can be passed over regular ARC today (via Dolby Digital Plus) and eARC offers improved bandwidth for higher-quality Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio streams, including Dolby Atmos. The new format also has lip-sync compensation built-in. HDMI eARC on the Soundbar and on your OLED55BXPUA will be by far the best connection...^IFV

• yep, it does. I have my shield passed through the bar and atmos comes through without issue. It also passes HDR10 and Dolby Vision.
