QuestionI've had this soundbar w/rear speakers for <3 wks and it keeps disconnecting from the rear speakers. About every five minutes "Connected" flashes on the front of the soundbar and then the speakers cut out for a second. Why is it doing this?

QuestionI have the soundbar connected through ARC and when I turn the tv on with the soundbar the soundbar turns on then immediately says goodbye then turns backonthen says goodbye again and then on. Sometimes it’ll stay off. Is there a fix or should I exchange?

- Answer You will need to look at the packaging for the Universal Remote that you intend to use with the LG SN8YG 3.1.2 Channel High Res Audio Sound Bar with Dolby Atmos® and Google Assistant Built-In. Universal Remotes will list which brands of Soundbars and manufacturers they are compatible with and also list which functions they will operate on compatible Soundbars. The volume up/down and mute functions on the Soundbar can be controlled with the TV remotes from other brands...^IFV

- Answer You cannot pair another wireless Subwoofer with the LG 3.1.2-Channel 440W Soundbar System with Wireless Subwoofer and Dolby Atmos with Google Assistant, Model # SN8YG. It can only pair with one Subwoofer at a time. You cannot add any additional wired Subwoofers to the Soundbar either because it does not have any ports for external speakers. You can add the LG SPK8-S 2.0 Channel Sound Bar Wireless Rear Speaker Kit to the unit but the Wireless Rear Speaker Kit does not have a Subwoofer. This unit will not work with an 8" from a different brand...^IFV

We do not have information on if a 2021 model will be available without a Subwoofer. However, if it is a Dolby Atmos® Soundbar, it will not be available without a Subwoofer...^IFV

The differences are that Model # SN8YG has Dolby Vision & HDR10 Passthrough, Custom Room Tuning, 4K Passthorugh and it features an HDMI eARC port. It adds Movie (Dolby Surround) and AI Sound Pro to the Sound modes, supports AAC C4A / USB, FLAC (Up to 192kHz) C4A / USB, WAV C4A / USB and MP3 C4A / USB and has 2 x 40W Front Speakers, but also features 2 x 50W Front Height speakers...^IFV
