I found once I connected my Roku accesses LG volume control and I just tested my VIZIO remote also uses soundbar.

Once you have the soundbar hooked up directly to ur smart tv via HDMI Arc or optical, then set ur tv sounds to HDMI ARC and soundbar set to HDMI ARC, your amazon fire remote should be able to control the vol.
