“When units are stacked on a pedestal, approx. how many inches from flr. to controls on top unit? I'm 5'3" and live alone. I want to know if the controls on the top unit will be difficult to set/read if used with a pedestal? I need the pedestal to eliminate bending to load bottom unit.”

As it turns out, we cannot recommend to stack two units on one pedestal. Each laundry unit should have its own pedestal.
