• Hello Frig Shopper. Thank you for your inquiry and interest in the LG - 30.6 cubic foot French Door Smart Refrigerator, Model # LFCS31626S. Judging by the videos showing the doors being closed, it does not appear that you would need to close one door in order for you to close the other. Models that need one door to be closed in order for the other to close usually feature a flap that is on one door that slides behind the other door to form a seal that prevents air from escaping or entering the refrigerator. The seals on this unit are positioned in such a way that they form a tight seal when the doors are closed so the flap is not necessary...IFV
