Hello, based on your description the unit is working as it was designed. It is normal for the surface burners on an electric range to cycle on and off. This is done to maintain an even temperature at the heat selection that has been chosen and to prevent damage to the ceramic cooktop. The burner will cycle on and off more than usual when using pans that are not flat, or are the incorrect size for the burner. Please ensure you have review the manual for proper pan sizing and type. ^AC
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The cooktop will turn on 100% then off 100% (technically not off). Then will adjust to the temperature setting with continuing heat, sometimes the radiant will turn on and off several times during this process. Hope this helps.
