Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I’m no expert on the issue, but there are no air flow holes in the cutout area for our oven. The LG replaced another oven. Only unplanned for issue was electrical outlet built into area that had to be replaced as it “stuck” out and limited insertion of oven into space.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The Geek Squad personnel installed our new LG 30" Built-in Single Electric Convection Wall Oven (Black Stainless Steel) in the same 'wooden cabinet' opening that had contained our GE Single Electric Oven (with only a slight height modification that took them less than 5 minutes). They ran the initial cycle on convection at 500 degrees for 1.5 hours and the oven wasn't even 'hot' on the outside 'ever', and then went through the normal 'very quite' cool down sequence (much quieter than our old oven). A few hours later we ran our first 'bake' cycle at 375 for 2 hours, and everything turned out perfect. It appears that if the required cabinet size width, height and depth to meet the dimensional minimums of the oven, the air flow is sufficient to vent from the ventilation the unit provides.
